VxCloud Cloud backup solutions consist of multiple Vendors in the cloud including Azure, AWS, CloudBerry and Others. Cloud backup is not designed for large backup solutions but is well structured for desktop and server backups. Cloud backup also supports O365 Email and OneDrive backups.

The VxCloud hybrid cloud backup is based on the Software Design SAN / NAS solutions and is done in 2 stages. The first backup stage is done via onsite backup software where 2 backup products are supported including Veeam and Vembu. The backup is then done to a local storage device that is replicated to the VxCloud hosted data centre; lastly it is also replicated into the cloud as a 3rd backup iteration.

VxCloud backup services includes the reporting and monitoring of backup services. Each backup is reported on daily and all issues are resolved by the backup engineers. The support Network Operations Centre (NOC) also provides DRaaS that is based on AWS and Azure Site Recovery. Backup and Recovery SLAs can be provided to create solutions to address recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives.

DRaaS is not about the backup but the end to end backup and recovery process. We are well positioned to create multiple solutions for the backup replication and recovery of services and applications. VxCloud DRaaS supports VMware, Hyper V, Windows OS and Linux Server OS. Design and architecture is required as part of the terms and conditions.

A detailed analysis of the client’s backup and recovery strategy must be completed. Data can be stored as long as the client requires. VxCloud can also provide additional archiving solutions that is better suited for longer periods of data storage.
The backup, recovery and DRaaS is a combination of private, public and hybrid cloud backup technologies. The aim is to create a strategy where client business requirements are mapped to the correct solutions, support and SLA services. VxCloud backup, recovery and DRaaS are based on OPEX billing models allowing clients to only pay for what they consume.
VxCloud has deployed a unique data storage solutions that is part of our backup and recovery solution. The backup software in conjunction with the storage solution is deployed in the colocation data centre and can be stored for long periods of time.
VxCloud provides access to multiple data centre that are 20KM apart to create networking interconnects and colocation access to support DRaaS. DRaaS is the ability for VxCloud to provide services and application replication between sites for faster and secure disaster recovery.

The Azure and AWS DRaaS solutions are all based on replication and creating procedures to recover the clients Windows, Linux, VMware and Hyper V infrastructures.

VxCloud consultants will provide enterprise backup and recovery procedures, SLA’s, RTO and RPO calculations.
VxCloud consultants can provide onsite workshops to discuss the different backup and recovery options. The consulting effort can also include demo and POC’s to demonstrate the different backup, recovery and DRaaS options.
VxCloud has integrated the Cloud Networking SD-WAN solution into Azure and AWS. This is a direct VPN networking connection to be used for backup and recovery data. The solutions are subject to a networking design for Azure and AWS.

Azure networking and backup can be included as part of the clients Microsoft Licensing agreement or Cloud Service Provider Licensing agreement.
