VxCloud Hosting and Virtual Private Servers (VPS) are virtual servers hosted in the Teraco colocation hosting data centre. VPS servers are simple, fast, and reliable virtual servers deployed on trusted hardware and provide reliable network connectivity. VxCloud provides secure VPS hosting services in South Africa. We have designed the VPS solution for high-speed access which in turn gives clients improved productivity and a competitive-advantage. Internet and networking access is provided for faster direct networking access, improved security and SD-WAN Cloud VPN services.
The VxCloud data centre colocation footprint, are vendor neutral data centres that will require clients to deploy their infrastructure only once and then be able to interconnect quickly and efficiently to multiple hosted service providers. Clients have access to new business revenue streams and can explore new software, such as Service Markets, Cloud BI, CRM and ERP systems. The network density footprint and high-performance features are hallmarks of the services provided. VxCloud server hosting focuses on clients that require dedicated servers to be hosted in the VxCloud colocation data centre. The VxCloud hosted servers provides customers with front-end server capability to back-end application as well as database servers that are connected to fast direct or network attached storage. All servers come with dual power supplies powered by two separate power sources. All servers come with a three-year replacement waranty so clients are guaranteed that their applications will always be running on the latest hardware available. VxCloud provides this service on 24 months contract basis and this includes internet bandwidth packages. The VxCloud SD-WAN with VPN access to cloud branch office sites can also be included as part of the hosting package.
VxCloud provides affordable storage to our clients by leveraging cost-effective SAN and NAS storage solutions. The solutions include industry standard file-sharing protocols including iSCSI, NFS and CIFS. High-performance, multi-tier caching (RAM and SSD) and scheduled snapshots via copy-on-write file system (ZFS) is provided. Thin provisioning, block replication through patent-pending replicate technology is also provided. The solutions provide data integrity through built-in error detection and correction with underlying software and hardware RAID support. The solution is Azure and AWS cloud integration providing de-duplication & compression support.

VxCloud Backup and Recovery is a solution tailored for clients that need to secure data, backup applications, virtual servers and operating systems. VxCloud provides a combination of private and Cloud DR Backup and Recovery services. The VxCloud service will monitor the backup process and create detailed backup reports. VxCloud DR Services include Azure Site Recovery and is deployed as part of the SD-WAN integrated Azure networking service. Onsite private hosted and cloud hosted servers can be replicated to Azure.

VxCloud SDS NAS is quick and easy to configure in minutes for IT administrators and DevOps personnel with no specialised storage training required. Our SDS NAS includes easy anstep-by-step wizards for initial configuration, high availability (HA) set-up and replication to managed snapshots.
Unified SAN & NAS simultaneously enables storage of NFS and CIFS file sharing and block-based iSCSI disk I/O. Replicate data anywhere you need it with efficient block replication. Copy on write and scheduled snapshots are provided and are space efficient. This can also be integrated with previous version of Microsoft.
Backup and Recovery
We have incorporated the SDS NAS and Virtual SAN into the VxCloud backup strategy. Our offering allows for the Backup software to copy the data while the NAS and SAN provide HA and replication. There is a major cost saving compared to typical backup solutions. We provide multiple copies of the data to be copied and replicated. Error correction and deduplication is included as an additional important feature.
AWS and AZURE Integrated
SD SAN Supports a broad range of networking configurations: 1GbE, 10GbE, Fibre-channel Direct Attached, NIC Teaming, Port-trunking, Multi-IP, Jumbo Frame, VLAN and Firewall Security. The SDS solutions are deployed as an appliance in both Azure and AWS allowing VxCloud to provide integrated SAN and NAS storage replication to the public cloud.

- For Block storage: Capacity limit is determined by the instance size. Capacity limits = 2TB disks x Core count. The instance size determines the core count. The current up limit for Azure is 40TB.
- For Object Storage: We’re able to support file capacities via Hot and Cool blob storage that are either:
- The size of the single Azure storage account if only one is required, which gets you 500TB.
- Over 500TB when leveraging multiple storage accounts for petabyte-scale storage.
Can my organization use more than one Azure storage option with the VxCloud Software Storage Solutions (NAS)?
How does high viability work on Azure?
Our current HA solution relies on the replication of data between instances. The SDS NAS High Availability feature is based on an active-passive pairing of instances with a 60-second asynchronous data replication cycle. The storage that is presented (i.e. block or blob) does not alter this requirement.
